STRATEGIC ALLIANce buss chemtech AG - KRESTA INDUSTRIES 

We are pleased to inform you that Buss ChemTech AG of Pratteln, Switzerland, entered in a strategic alliance with KRESTA Technologies AG of Zug, Switzerland, a wholly owned subsidiary of KRESTA Anlagenbau GmbH Nfg & Co KG, St. Andrä, Austria.

With this agreement, ownership of 56 % of the shares of Buss ChemTech AG transfers to KRESTA Technologies, with 44 % retained by the management of Buss ChemTech AG.

KRESTA Anlagenbau is part of "KRESTA industries", a group with 650 employees, specialized in engineering services including project management, manufacturing of equipment, piping systems, tanks etc. as well as erection services ( http://www.kresta-industries.com/ ).

This Alliance will provide an expanded range of services up to EPC or EPMC, which will be of particular interest to clients seeking stick-built plants. Both companies can draw on an extensive, world-wide experience in the construction of industrial plants for the chemical industry.

Uniting the dedicated technology focus of Buss ChemTech AG with the engineering and construction capabilities of KRESTA provides single sourcing and an integrated service that reduces the co-ordination workload for the client. This optimal combination of services will provide added value for clients' investment.

The future direction of the alliance will see development of Buss ChemTech in Pratteln as KRESTA's Technology Centre, while other KRESTA sites in St. Andrä (Austria), Freiberg, Mülheim, Cologne and Ludwigshafen (Germany) will focus on detail engineering and project operations.
